Hello.

Re. Reggae - i've always liked it but in terms of what to listen to i'm a little lost. Obviosuly, bob marley is on time, more so are Toots & the maytals but who else? I need a reggae 101. Also, not meaning to brag but i have fairly encyclopedic knoledge of hip-hop so any reggae/ragga/dub that you think might do the job let me know.

Am looking for truthful/acoustic/honest sounds.

Any advice warmly received

Cheers from London

i love reggae/ dub music.

Mishka is kind of unknown but is excellent. Collie Buddz is another great reggae artist. All the Marleys are good; Stephen, Damian, and Ziggy. Rebelution is great. Shaggy has some good stuff and so does Eddy Grant. I would also recomend Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, 311. Sean Pauls "temperature" song is sick. Hope this helps.
