I luv luv luv jill scott. "He loves me" and "take a long walk" hav 2 be my favorite songs by her. vivian green is amazing. "emotional roller coaster" has 2 be 1 of my top favorite songs and so is "i gotta leave". erykah badu been doin her thang years now and still is remembered ecspecially her song "tyrone". raphael saadique is great and ive loved him since he was in Tony! Toni! Tone!. joss stone has such a soulful voice and a unique style and look.

Good artists in that category that are not my favs are the singer from Floetry - who also went solo (Marsha), too and she has the same problem that I think Jag Wright has - she curses TOO much on too much of her material. We have Hip Hop for that. I love both their voices but their delivery method is not mu cuppa tea.
